Wonderful wearables

  • copenhagen fablab Valgårdsvej københavn Denmark (map)

Following on from Currents and Cake - sewing with conductive thread for a soft electronic circuit.

We are moving onto Wonderful wearables, ever wanted a super cool led garment, or ever wondered how cosplayers made their fancy costumes glow!.

The Arduino Gemma is a microcontroller board made by Adafruit based on the ATtiny85. It has 3 digital input/output pins (of which 2 can be used as PWM outputs and 1 as analog input), an 8 MHz resonator, a micro USB connection, a JST connector for a 3.7V battery, and a reset button. It contains everything needed to support the microcontroller; simply connect it to a computer with a USB cable or power it with a battery to get started.
(if this sounds crazy don't worry it's really easy and fun!).

We will provide the kits and of course, will provide refreshments too.

This class is suitable for ages 10 and upwards and perfect for anyone with no coding knowledge :).

The class will be a max 10 people so be sure to sign up on our link when it goes live.
